Ian Taylor

Cher MacNeill was born in Montreal and currently resides in Toronto. She has explored photography from an early age: she received her first camera, a Kodak Instamatic, at age 8 and her first 35mm on her 16th birthday. Later she studied photography as part of a joint fine art degree at the University of Toronto and Sheridan College. In 2005, after working 20 years in film editing, she found herself drawn back to the still image… particularly to the pinhole photograph and its cinematic take.

Pinhole cameras now accompany her on all her travels.

She also likes photographing big bellies and little people.
